January 7, 2020 was the 8th anniversary of the passing of my mother. She was an incredible woman – an Untouchable in India’s oppressive caste system, coming from a broken home, and born at a time when the prospects for getting educated for someone of her background (and being a woman) was considered one in a trillion.
My mother overcame those odds earning an undergraduate and a graduate degree in Mathematics. She was one in a trillion. I am grateful to be her son.
Above all, my mom taught me to stand up for Truth, to work hard, to achieve excellence, and never to give up. She would be right here with me, boots on the ground, with all of you to support our U.S. Senate campaign. She believed in meritocracy, not aristocracy.
The Democrats and the Establishment which run this country believe in aristocracy. This is why Ed Markey and Joe Kennedy think they OWN the U.S. Senate seat for Massachusetts. My candidacy offers us an opportunity to reclaim what it means to be an American.
