After writing a honest report exposing corruption in Indian Science, Shiva was fired, evicted, threatened, and forced to flee India via Nepal. Nature India commissioned him to write “Innovation Demands Freedom,” which was published. Later the PM Office of India threatened the Nature India Editor, forcing it to be pulled down.
